This customer came over all the way from Penang. He was in town visiting some relatives and decided to pay us a visit to get his head unit replaced.
He has pretty much left his sound system as it is when he bough the car years ago, hence the JDM head unit. He was fine with it until recently when the screen started to have issues. He did some research and decided to go for the Kenwood DMX723WS as it will fit the stock location easily.
As you can see, this unit really does fit very nicely in the Toyota Wish. No modifications necessary, just use the existing bracket and screw holes. However, you will need to make the wiring connections as the factory harness does not just plug in. Toyota harness adapters and some simple wiring and you’re done.
The Kenwood is equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Wireless Mirroring via Kenwood’s App.
