In this video, our customer brought over his dads Subaru Forester to get the head unit upgraded, what a good son 🙂
Currently, he already has an Android installed, but the unit is missing the features he wants. He was looking for a head unit with 360 cameras and also wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. We ended up going with the Teyes CC3 2K 360 with 360 Around View Monitoring.
For those wanting to get the same done, please be aware that the 360 installation is a very involved installation. Unless you are experienced, you may need more than a day to get this done. The trickiest part may be mounting the camera on ths side mirrors and routing the wires through the door into the cabin.
Nevertheless, once done, you will really appreciate the result and the usefulness of the system, especially on a larger vehicle such as this Subaru Forester.
