Owner of this Perodua Bezza dropped by our place to get some advise on getting a reverse camera and dashcam installed. She also wanted navigation app. After going back and fort, we came up with this setup which fulfills her needs and within her budget.
The Blaupunkt Santa Marta 800 is likely one of the cheapest wired Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto head unit available in the market. The nice thing about this particular model for the Bezza is the fit looks spot on. Of course it isn’t perfect, perfect, but for a universal 2-DIN unit, you can’t ask for more.
Along with the Santa Marta, we also installed the Blaupunkt RC TY1.0 reverse camera. Some minor customization was needed to get this to fit nicely. Nothing too difficult. Blaupunkts range of RC cameras never dissapoint.
Last but not least, we opted for the Akeeyo AKY-T1-Lite dash cam. This was one of the main things this customer wanted to make sure to have. The Akeeyo T1-Lite is and excellent 2K front and FHD rear dashcam that should be more than enough to cleary capture video evidence should you need it.
All-in-all it was a good day, and one never complains about working on a Bezza because stress levels were pretty low for this car. Results were terrific and customer was satisfied.
