A lot of Perodua Myvi owners want to have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto head units for their car. however, we must admit that a high-end reliable unit that has these can be quite expensive. Thankfully Kenwood has the perfect model that fall in the wallet-friendly yet reliable unit in the form of the DMX5020S.
In this install, no wires were cut. We also managed to retain the factory reverse camera and also steering controls by using the proper harness adapters. If you are looking for this very solution do drop us a message we will be glad to assist.
Take note, due to width of the factory head unit which is the Toyota type 200mm wide, you will need to add side spacers to fill the gaps when installing an aftermarket 2 DIN head unit. 2 DINS are typically about 18cm wide.
