The owner of this Honda CR-Z, a very nice guy, wanted to upgrade his head unit in his newly purchased car. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto was his main criteria so he opted for the Kenwood DMX7522S. Along with the head unit, we also installed the Blaupunkt RC 3.0 reverse camera. This is a very popular combination for many of our customers.
We did some custom work for the rear camera fitment as there was a hollow area with what seems to be screw holes ready. Using some metal, we made a bracket for the camera to be mounted. Really happy with the result.
Beside those items, we also installed the Trapo dashcam which he bought online. The only thing about this car is the rear tailgate is somewhat unique so we placed the rear dashcam on the small rear window for a better view.
