The owner of the Myvi just received his car and wanted to get his audio system upgraded. His preference was Pioneer so he went all in with the Pioneer system.
Head unit of choice is the Pioneer DMH-Z6350BT. This Z series head unit supports Hi Res audio and also wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Because the owners intention is to get the best sound quality he specifically went for the Z series head unit. We also installed factory style OE reverse camera that can be mounted at the rear logo for that factory look.
We also matched the head unit with a set of Hi Res speakers for the front and the rear. The models are TS-Z65Ch for the front and TS-Z65F for the rear. For the front, we also added a pair of Aluminium tweeter stands as the Myvi does not have factory tweeter location.
To take care of the low end bass, we added the Pioneer TS-WX400DA active subwoofer. This subwoofer has been our go to for quite awhile now escpecially for the Myvi as the space under the front seat is just perfect. No clearance issues at all. This downfiring subwoofer sounds so good that at times, you may mistake it for a 12 inch box.
Lastly we also added STP sound dampening material to all 4 doors along with some absorption treatment. This car in particular really benefits a lot from doing this as anyone who has driven the Myvi will notice how noisy the doors can be. Outside noise is reduced and more importantly speaker vibrations are dampened.
