One of our regular customers finally decided to get the head unit replaced in the Perodua Ativa. The main reason for doing so is wanting to have Waze on screen.
Initially the customer was wanting to go for the higher end model, however decided to go for the more affordable model due to budget. Thankfully we have the Blaupunkt Cape Town 900/1000 DSP which has all the necessary features like Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On top of that, this model has proven to be stable in the long run.
We would recommend it to those looking for a budget Android head unit that is stable and reliable without sacrificing much on the features. On top of the head unit, we also upgraded the reverse camera to the Blaupunkt AHDC 3.1 model which supports the 1080P Full HD Resolution. The reversing image is now way better than the stock camera.
Fitment into the Perodua Ativa isn’t an issue at all. Steering Wheel Control Buttons are retained without any issue.
