Our customer came back, this time with his dads Honda City. This Honda City was pretty basic with only a Single DIN head unit. He actually wanted a reverse camera to help his dad when reversing, but thought may as well go with something that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Dakota is an excellent choice for a basic Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto head unit at an affordable price.
The installation only needed the Honda 2 DIN frame to fit into the original head unit location. The rest are original parts from the car which really helps with keeping the cost down. The Blaupunkt RC 3.0 rear camera was a pretty standard install with no issues whatsoever.
Besides the head unit and reverse camera, this customer was also facing FM reception issues so he installed the Blaupunkt Auto Fun Pro 2 FM antenna to solve this once and for all.
Overall once done we found the fit of the head unit to be perfect. The functionality and performance was more than enough for what the customer needed. Radio reception is now once again clear.
