This Hyundai Elantra Radio was no longer working so the owner came to us to have it replaced. After doing a bit of research, we found that the best option and likely the least troublesome for this particular model would be an Android head unit. This is due to the fact a lot of the integration with the head unit was digital. The Android kit made for these models come with the can bus interface so a lot of the integrations are retained.

Our choice of Android head unit as usual is the Teyes Android unit. Based on the customers budget and needs, we ended up with the CC3L 4+32 GB as this was more than enough than what he needed. A minimum of 4GB RAM is usually what we recommend for a better user experience.

Installation for this unit should be pretty straight forward, however in the case of this particular car, some cleanup was need. This is due to the fact some wirings have been tempered with while installing an aftermarket amplifier before. Not a big deal luckily as everything could be cleaned up and wired up properly.

If you have this exact car model and are looking to replace a busted radio or just want something with more functionality, we do highly recommend the Teyes Android head unit without hesitation.
