Most aftermarket speakers these days don’t come with stands that allow optimal positioning of the tweeters. This can be especially problematic for cars that did not have component system— so there’s really no other place to position the tweeters except on the dashboard or to spend a hefty amount on a pair of custom A pillars.
As high frequency sound is very directional, the way the tweeters are positioned can really make or break the imaging of the sound stage. This is why we have prepared multiple tweeter stands to deal with this issue.
