Rolling off the pipelines before Tesla Model 3, the Chevy Bolt is now hitting the road.
The Bolt, with a starting price of US$37,495 (appx. RM165,393) including shipping, is the first EV offered in the U.S. with a range of more than 322km on one battery charge (its official EPA-estimated range is 383km) and a price of less than US$40,000 (appx RM176,443). Most buyers are eligible for a US$7,500 (appx. RM33,083) federal tax credit, effectively lowering the base model’s price to US$29,995 (appx. RM132,310).
