This install was done for one our returning customer. What we can see is this Volvo 850 is well taken care of by him as his second car. He was looking to get a touch screen head unit installed along with a reverse camera for practical purposes. On top of that he wanted to replace the speakers as he felt it could improve the overall audio performance. The car already had a pre amp, an amplifier and a subwoofer installed when we got it.
Luckily enough, he was able to source Infinity Reference 5.25″ component speakers set which are really hard to come by these days. With some settings and a good tune, the system sounded very nice with the new speakers. Thankfully the wiring was all good in this car and all we needed to do was replace the speakers.
The Pioneer AVH-Z7250BT delivered in terms of sound quality, as Pioneer units usually do. The addition of Blaupunkt RC 3.0 reverse camera now helps the driver be doubly aware when reversing, which is always a great thing. The added benefit of having Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is a huge bonus to him as he had not specified needing this in the beginning. This alone brings this Volvo 850 in to the future.
We also installed the DDPAI Mola N3 Pro dash cam which is a very wise item to install in this day and age. It will save you time and hassle in the event of any unwanted occurrence while driving. The added parking monitoring function is also a big plus as it will ensure some level of monitoring even when the vehicle is parked.
