The owner of this Perdana came by to replace his Android head unit with the Kenwood DMX80AXS. He wasn’t too happy with the Android so he decided to get the Kenwood, which he is quite familiar with in another car of his.
Luckily the Kenwood fits perfectly the Android location. No modifications are needed to fit the Kenwood, however wiring will still be needed as the typical android plugs do not match the Kenwood’s.
Overall, customer was satisfied with the outcome saying that the sound seems to be much improved. He is also pretty satisfied with the smoothness of the unit.
